Full Circle Moments: Ms. Sue Metzger Comes Home to ASB

Surprise visits like this remind us what makes ASB feel like family. This spring, we were delighted to welcome back Ms. Sue, beloved by so many former students who started their ASB journey in her cozy PK3 classroom between 2000 and 2016.

Ms. Sue stopped by campus while visiting her youngest son, Joan Metzger ’16, who now works right here in our ECC with ASB’s youngest learners, a truly full-circle moment! She even had the chance to share a story with one of our PK4 classes, bringing that same warmth and energy that so many of her former students remember.

During her visit, Ms. Sue reconnected with her former ECC principal and good friend, Ms. Christina Torrengo, as well as old colleagues and students who were thrilled to see her back on campus.

Moments like these remind us that no matter how much ASB grows and changes, the heart of our community remains the same.

Once a Lynx, always a Lynx!
