We welcomed Adam Pearl and Pau Brugal from the Class of 2020 back to campus this week. Both are done with their university studies for the year and are visiting family in Barcelona.
Adam, who attended ASB G4-12, is currently a freshman at Harvard University in Boston, intending to study Economics. After graduation, he took a gap year, working first in New York and later unintentionally starting a juice business in Kenya, where he also started learning Swahili. Apart from his studies, Adam has joined a Latin dance group at Harvard and enjoys sharing his music with the university radio station. Following his heart for service, Adam will travel to Cambodia in July to work for an NGO involved in beekeeping.
Pau is currently in his second year studying Philosophy at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. In addition to his studies, he has been able to stay on the music scene in Glasgow and is learning Italian. He remains in touch with fellow ASB alums in Scotland, Joan Verdet '20 and Ellie Loftus '21.
