Twenty-Five Years of Heart: Celebrating Ms. Bronwyn and Ms. Magda

Some teachers leave a mark on a lesson. Others leave a mark on a life. This year, ASB celebrates two staff members who have spent 25 years doing the latter, quietly, consistently, and with extraordinary dedication.

Ms. Bronwyn has filled the halls of ASB with music, passion, and performance for a quarter of a century. From late-night rehearsals to IB Music masterclasses, from the intimacy of the music room to the creative crossroads of IB Theory of Knowledge, she has poured herself into every student who ever picked up an instrument or dared to find their artistic voice. Her influence doesn't end when the final note fades, it carries forward in the musicians, thinkers, and creatives she has helped shape.

Ms. Magda Montesinos has been a steady, warm presence through some of the most pivotal moments in her students' lives. College applications, Selectividad stress, the uncertain journey toward a Spanish university, Ms. Magda has navigated all of it alongside her students, with patience, belief, and an open door. For many alumni, she was the person who saw their potential before they did.

At this year's end-of-year staff lunch, colleagues gathered to honor them both with performances, heartfelt words, and well-deserved celebration. The gratitude in the room said everything.
