In January, we had the joy of welcoming back to campus alumni sisters Marta ‘17 and Beatriz ‘11 Escura.
They were on campus as alumni voices for our reaccreditation process, meeting with the MSA team together with parents and sharing thoughtful reflections on their ASB experience and life beyond it. Their perspective, honesty, and care for the school meant a great deal.
Marta studied Medicine at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is now an Internal Medicine Resident at Parc Taulí Hospital Universitari, where she is practicing a profession she truly loves.
Beatriz “Betty” studied Business Administration at ESADE, completed a Master’s in Marketing Strategy and Innovation, and has recently launched her own venture, TinyRiots, combining entrepreneurship with strong values and a family-first mindset.
Their visit was also a chance to reconnect with former teachers, including their Spanish high school counselor Ms. Magda Montesinos, who supported them through their Selectividad journey and path to Spanish universities.
The highlight of the day came when Marta and Betty surprised their niece Sofia, now in eighth grade, with a quick hello and a big hug. A simple moment that captured what ASB is all about: community, continuity, and family across generations.
Thank you, Marta and Betty, for coming back, for giving your time, and for reminding us how meaningful these connections truly are.
Once a Lynx, always a Lynx!
