We held our first TEDx event at ASB this week featuring nine brilliant speakers comprised of students, parents, and a teacher from the ASB community - students Emma Poma, Will Jenkins, Vicky Alvarez, Gabe Rodgers, and Zach Freer, parents Harris Fellman, Jon Kurtz and Jeff Gothelf and teacher Joan Lopez.
The "talks" covered various issues, ranging from personal experiences that sparked growth to expertise in specific fields. Great storytelling and an inspiring evening for all! Congratulations to the organizing team, seniors Asia Navarrete and Karolina Tudman, with extensive help from our Speech and Debate coaches, Mr. Micah Cook and Mr. Michael Hennessy.
