In October, we had the pleasure of reconnecting with alum Alex Madigan ’25, who attended ASB from PK3 to Grade 2 while his family lived in Barcelona from 2005 to 2015. Last week, we were delighted to welcome his entire family back to school. Mitch Madigan, a former G3 and G5 teacher, Kathy Madigan, an Admissions substitute and active PA member, and younger brother Noah ’28 all enjoyed time back on campus.

Now living in Southern China, where Mitch and Kathy work at the American International School of Guangzhou and Noah is a ninth grader, the family were spending winter break in Europe visiting Alex, currently a freshman at Amsterdam University College.

After ten years in our community, there was no shortage of stories to share, and the warm welcome showed just how much the Madigan family has been missed. The reunion continued later that evening at our alumni Christmas drinks, where former classmates and students came together once again. It was a wonderful reminder that connections made at ASB continue across the globe and across the decades.
