This year, we’ve had so many reasons to be proud of our alumni, but one name lit up both our hearts and our screens: Lucas Silveira Balloni, Class of 2022, who crushed it on The Voice Spain (La Voz) last fall.

A familiar face to anyone who attended our annual Spotlight productions, Lucas had been wowing ASB audiences for years with his powerful stage presence and standout performances. As our Spotlight Director, Ms. Kaitlin Kemp, so perfectly put it, “He is such a force of natural talent!” That talent found an even broader audience in 2024 when he stepped onto the national stage.

After a show-stopping audition that earned him a place on Team Malú, Lucas sailed through the first round and moved on to The Great Battles in October, where he delivered another unforgettable performance. Out of 14 contestants, Lucas was one of only seven chosen to advance to the knockout stage!

From the ASB stage to Spanish television, Lucas has carried his authenticity, passion, and musical talent with grace. We couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come, and we can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next.
