ASB Alumni Reunion in London

Reconnecting and reminiscing about days at the American School of Barcelona

It was a wholesome evening in London last Friday, January 17, reconnecting with ASB alumni from 1985 through 2024. Former faculty Mr. Juan Hernando, now based at the American School in London, also joined for the night. Hosted by Michelle Collin, Director of Alumni Relations, and Mr. Bill Volchok, Assistant Director, more than 30 alumni joined to reconnect and reminisce about their days at the American School of Barcelona.

Several ASB lifers who attended the school from PK to G12 were thrilled to see their former ECC principal, Ms. Christina Torrengo, while most recent graduates from the Class of 2024 caught up with HS principal Mr. Omar Ugalde and Director Mark Pingitore, who were both in London for faculty recruitment.

Head of Activities and Community Service, alumna Ms. Marta Vernet ‘85, reunited with several former classmates who traveled in for the event from all over the UK.

Thanks to everyone who joined. It’s always a highlight to reconnect with our alumni community and see you thriving.
