Visit from Class of 2015 alumni

As they approach their tenth year reunion, see what these four alumni are up to today.

It's hard to believe it has been over nine years since the Class of 2015 graduated. In December, we had the pleasure of hosting a visit from four former students from that cohort - Clara Martín Marqués, Begoña Molins, Alexia Planas Lee, and Ignasi Corté Arbués. The alums were able to reconnect with former teachers and staff and tour the campus, seeing new facilities like the Lynx Athletics Center and middle school building.

  • Clara attended ASB from PreK to Grade 12, furthering her studies at Sciences Po in Paris for her Bachelors in Political Science and at the University of Cambridge for her Masters in Philosophy International Relations and Politics. She is currently the Press Officer at the European Central Bank's Climate Change Centre, part of a small team within the Counsel to the Executive Board working to shape and steer the bank's work on climate change. Her younger sister, Elena, recently graduated with the Class of 2024.
  • Begoña attended ASB in Grades 11 and 12, completing her Bachelor and Master in Mechanical Engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. She was a 25 Guns Taskforce Engineer at Tesla in Berlin for nearly three years, responsible for first principle engineering & urgent problem-solving during the construction and ramp-up of the Berlin Gigafactory. Earlier this month she joined Flexa, a joint venture between Enpal and Entrix, as VPP Integration Manager.
  • Alexia attended ASB in Grades 10 to 12, completing her bachelor's in Business Management at Kings College London and an advanced fashion editorial at London College of Style. She has worked in art direction and styling for fashion editorials and a start-up that applied web3 tech and blockchain to fashion sustainability. She is working at dimpora on the path to making outdoor and functional wear free of chemicals.
  • Ignasi attended ASB in Grades 11 and 12, completing his bachelor's in Aeronautics Engineering at Imperial College London before moving to The Netherlands for his Masters in Engineering at TU Delft. He is currently undertaking his PhD in Climate Change Economics at TU Delft.
