On June 17, 2023, Alumni Relations Director Michelle Collin and Ms. Marta Vernet welcomed 19 returning alums from the Class of 2013 to ASB, many of whom had traveled to Barcelona for this memorable occasion from international cities like London, Copenhagen, Madrid, Miami, Milan, and New York.
Organized by former classmates Maria Bernat and Maria Sabaté, this was the cohort who graduated a decade before, during the school's 50th anniversary. They fondly recalled their contributions to the time capsule, currently displayed in our main reception, to be opened in the 2037-38 school year.
The alums were amazed to see the development of the campus, especially the Elementary and Middle School buildings, facilities that did not exist when they were at school.
They enjoyed reminiscing over a decade of memories and friendships before heading out for an afternoon visit to Casa Batlló, a building in the center of Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudí.
