Claudia Bassols '97 Back on Stage

Showstopping performance in ÉXITO.

Congratulations to alumna Claudia Bassols ‘97 for her outstanding stage performance in screenwriter Tirso Calero’s ÉXITO at Madrid’s Teatro Marquina. Claudia’s portrayal of the protagonist, a film industry-forgotten actress working as a cleaner, was awe-inspiring - from the delivery of her lines to her body language and emotional range.

ASB’s Alumni Relations Director, Michelle Collin, and school parent, Hollis Duncan, attended the play together with Claudia’s partner, Simon. They agreed that her interaction with fellow cast members (Tián de Pascual and Manuel Tallafé) in each scene felt incredibly natural and genuine and that her dedication, hard work, and talent were evident in every aspect of her performance.

“As an ASB alumna, you have made us immensely proud. Your success on the stage is a testament to your passion, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence, and is an inspiration for current and future students.”

Congratulations on your top performance, Claudia! Keep doing what you're doing and we'll keep following.
