Gaspar Lopez Torres '76 tours visiting School Directors group

Reconnects with ASB and shares love for his beautiful city.

In April we enjoyed a lovely visit from alum Gaspar Lopez Torres from the Class of 1976. Gaspar enjoyed his experiences at ASB so much that he wanted his children to attend the school - Carla Montllonch '07 and Gaspi Montllonch '10 are also ASB graduates.

Gaspar is the Director of Gaspar vTours (www.gasparvtours.com) in Barcelona, a company he founded to offer fun and informative virtual and in-person tours of his beautiful city. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge about the history and culture of Barcelona in English or Spanish.

In April, amidst the crowds of the Sant Jordi celebrations in Catalonia, he led a three-hour guided tour for a group of MAIS (Mediterranean Association of International Schools) Directors and Board Chairs who were in Barcelona for a two-day strategic workshop hosted by ASB. His daughter, Carla Montllonch '07, and ASB Alumni Relations Director, Michelle Collin, were able to join him.
