The campus was alive with Sant Jordi celebrations in April when French/Catalan alumna Carla Amorós Thiercy '20, who attended ASB from G1 to G12, returned to campus. Carla is in her third year of a Bachelor of Media and Culture degree at Utrecht University in The Netherlands. Next year she will undertake her Master's in Media and Business in Rotterdam.
Many may know Carla's mother, Ms. Valerie, who has been ASB's elementary school secretary since 2006. In addition to visiting Ms. Valerie, Carla was also able to see Ms. Austin, Ms. Tessa, Ms. Meg, Ms. Minu, Ms. Magda, Mr. Bingle, Ms. Justine, Mr. Mark, as well as meet ASB's new elementary school principal, Ms. Kristen.
