Welcome back Amit Samuel from Class of 2018

Enlisting in the Israeli military to farming, followed by a year of travel, find out what Amit is up to today!

Amit is currently undertaking a degree in economics and business at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. Following graduation from ASB, she returned to Israel with her younger sister, Noa, and enlisted in two years of military service. Noa returned to Israel in 2018 to complete her education and is now a commander in the Israeli military.

Following the military, Amit spent a year farming fruit and vegetables in northern Israel before leaving to travel internationally. She spent eight months in South America (mainly in Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru) and six months in Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and South Korea). While in Argentina, she spent a month volunteering at an Israeli charity called Heroes for Life.

Amit is still good friends with former ASB classmates Aida Scher Gabin, Sofía Bóveda Alasia, Ana Raich Condeminas, and Yonatan Zioni. She was excited to visit campus and catch up with her former teachers! See an Instagram reel of her visit HERE!
