Welcome back Leyre Lacasta Gómez '19

"IB Economics with Mr. Cook and Mr. Santi made me want to study Business at university."

Leyre Lacasta Gómez '19 is in her final year at La Salle in Barcelona, finishing her Bachelor of International Business Management and Technology. Although her studies started during the Covid pandemic, she was able to participate in an educational trip with her university to New York and San Francisco, where she attended seminars from employees at tech giants like Tik Tok, Google, and Facebook, hosted at Manhattan College and Saint Mary's College.

Last year she completed a year abroad, studying at LIUC Università near Milan. She is currently looking for internship opportunities in business consulting or marketing.

Leyre enjoyed her visit back to campus and caught up with several of her former teachers. She was especially keen to meet Mr. Cook and Mr. Santi, her former Economics teachers, who guided her toward her current choice of studies.

Great to see you, Leyre! Keep in touch!
