Welcome alum Dominik Austin back to campus

Learn how much ASB has changed since he attended and the familiar faces he encountered during his tour!

Today we had a surprise visit from Dominik Austin, who attended ASB during his fifth-grade year in 2013-14. With roots in Vietnam and the United States, after leaving ASB, Dominik attended boarding school in Manchester, where he went to play football and study.

With his family still in Barcelona, Dominik returned to finish his education in Spain. Today he plays for FC Levante Las Planas in Primera Catalana Division.

Dominik enjoyed a short tour around a much more developed campus than he remembered. He was able to visit the new Elementary and Middle School buildings. "When I was here, there was only one building!"

Dominik was surprised to hear his former fifth-grade teacher, Ms. Teresa, is still teaching at the school and to see other familiar faces like Ms. Elena, Ms. Bronwyn, Coach Teo, Ms. Susan, Ms. Ann, Nurse Aniko, and Ms. Minu, during his tour. The blue gym and the field brought back many good memories. "Those were spaces where I excelled!"

Finally, the 2012-2013 time capsule that stands in our main reception brought back so many memories.
