Historic mosaic stands strong after more than 20 years

Find out more about this iconic collaborative piece at the entrance of our Esplugues campus.

More than 20 years ago, former ASB art teacher Ms. Lynda Johnson embarked on a mosaic project involving every student at the school.

Designed by a professional artist, laying the brightly colored tiles took many hours of coordination and still stands strong at the entrance of our main building. The mosaic has become synonymous with our Esplugues campus, often used as the photo backdrop for visits. Other teachers involved in the project include Ms. Ettie Zilber (former Director), Ms. Febe Bellon, and Mr. Joe Maas.

Let us know if you laid a tile! What a wonderful gift to the school.
