Due to a collaboration with ASB parents, who are Brown University alumni, and the Performing Arts department, we brought the Brown Derbies to ASB while they were on tour in Europe.
The group performed a selection of their a capella songs during middle and high school assemblies and were warmly received by students and teachers who enthusiastically joined in the performances with cheering, clapping, singing, and even lights from their mobile phones. It was a truly memorable experience.
The Brown Derbies are the oldest tenor-through-bass a cappella group on Brown University's campus, known for their energetic performances, musicianship, and unique sound. They sing tunes ranging from ’80s hits to modern pop, entertaining a wide variety of audiences.
