Alumni Panel Talks About Life After ASB

Our Class of 2027 spent the morning with ASB alumni who returned to campus to talk about life after high school.

University counselors Ms. Allison Davis and Ms. Shanice Kamibeppu guided the conversation, asking about everything from choosing a major and applying to universities across different countries to what a normal week at university actually looks like. Several panelists now studying at local universities also spoke about adjusting to coursework in Spanish or Catalan after years of instruction in English.

The answers were honest, entertaining, and full of real personal stories. Alumni talked about balancing IB with university applications, missing home during the first few weeks away, discovering that the second year of university feels nothing like the first, and figuring out who they are once they step outside the ASB bubble.
