Ibby Newland '21 reunites with former teachers, Ms. Ana and Ms. Bronwyn

Ibby Newland '21 is back in town and had a wonderful reunion with Ms. Ana and Ms. Bronwyn when they attended an African drumming performance at CaixaForum this week. The explosion of rhythm, culture, and percussion matched their enthusiasm to see each other again, as was the mural fitting behind them by Sol LeWitt.

Ibby has just completed her first year at Wesleyan University, a private liberal arts university in Middletown, Connecticut. She enjoyed a summer job working for Where There Be Dragons in the Eastern Sierras outside Bishop, California (altitude 4,200 feet) before returning to Barcelona for time with family.
