On May 26, 2023, we received a visit from former school counselor Dr. Maru Gonzalez (2016-18), currently the Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University within the Youth, Family, and Community Sciences program, who was facilitating an undergraduate and graduate student study abroad course which explores community engagement, family, and culture in Barcelona and the Camino de Santiago.
The group toured the campus and met with Assistant Director Mr. Bill Volchok, Head of Community Service Ms. Marta Vernet, Alumni Relations Director Michelle Collin, and MS teacher Ms. Dawn Austin.
"We appreciate the warm welcome we received at ASB. Students were so inspired by the work that's happening at the school, and we are all grateful for the important learning opportunity."
